A couple weeks back I posted this photo of some dudes hanging out on and around a massive tree they had fallen near where the Scotia Tower is now, on Georgia Street. Today's find from the City of Vancouver Archives is from around the same time, and the same area, showing two men hanging out inside a massive hollowed out stump. A common theme in many of these archival photos is "white dudes standing/sitting in and next to things", and I've made a mental note to try not to overload you with ones that fall into that category... but sometimes I can't resist.
