Today's dog featured in Dogtown Vancouver is Benji, Gareth's pup. Here's what she had to say about him...

NAME: Benji. |
BREED: Benji is a Mi-Ki which is a rare toy breed; their lineage is shared with Pekinese, Shih Tzus and, to a lesser extent, Papillons and Yorkies.
HOOD: Hailing from the West End, Benji loves to sneak onto the beach at English Bay any chance he gets.
FAVOURITE SNACK: (Illegal) Goose poo, left unattended Benji will gladly munch on avian feces and when spotted will triple his eating speed much to the chagrin of his mom and dad. (Legal) Chicken jerky from his buddies at Bosley's.
OTHER INFO: Benji communicates the need to go to the bathroom by running back and forth and making the sound of a million skittles falling on the floor. He is deathly afraid of wooden slats or grates, fully convinced that he will fall through the 2 inch gap and die a most gruesome death. Watching him cling to the ground in terror when he spots a drain is a sight to behold! Benji is great with kids and will gladly give you a cuddle if you want to say hello. Although he can't talk he wanted me to let you know that he is always keen to lick your face, just a little if that's ok. He's also sorry that he's a jerk to other dogs; he did however have a bad experience back in Naam on 4th avenue, he's working on it though.
