If you haven’t heard Pete Yorn’s new album ArrangingTime yet, don’t worry, there’s still plenty of time for you to listen and fall in love before his April 11th concert here in Vancouver. His chill songs, strong beats, and hypnotizing voice means his album is going to be your number one place to find your next summer jam.
Not only is the Montville, NJ native (who now calls Santa Monica home) and new dad beyond talented, he manages to stay humble and inventive, as you will see in his answers below. His new album, which came out on March 11th, has already been getting rave reviews, and the hit single Lost Weekend, just might be your new weekend song.
What are three things that you would like for people to know about you right away?
I enjoy sandwiches, I love my family very much, and I have been slowly developing my chess game.

My health, my family, music, nature, the Oakland Raiders.
Tell us about the new album! Which song would you recommend someone to listen to first? Why?

“Life moves pretty fast…if you don’t stop and look around every once in a while, you might miss it.” Or something like that.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. And treat others as you would like to be treated. And pizza.
If you could be any ice cream flavour, which one would you be? Why?
Mint chocolate chip…because then I would eat myself.
Twitter or Instagram?

Too much of anything isn’t good.

Right here right now.

60 spider-sized smushed little lions.
If you had a whole day free of adult responsibilities, what would you do with your day?
