On the evening of Friday, April 22nd Here There is partnering with the Vancouver Art Gallery's Young Associates to host an edible experience at the gallery. For one night only chefs from The Acorn and Latab are collaborating to design a true edible experience inspired by MASHUP: The Birth of Modern Culture. Chefs Rob Clarke and Brian Luptak (Acorn) and Kris Barnholden (Latab), who are known for pushing boundaries of cuisine in the city, are responding to the art with something more than a sit down dinner, but as a collaborate art show that you can happen to eat.

MashUp is the most diverse show ever hosted at the Vancouver Art Gallery. It's got everything, you can experience: film, photo, painting, collage, sculpture, fashion, installation and more. But what they don't have is a Food component. This is our answer to that gap. We know what MashUp sounds, looks, moves, like. But this is how it tastes! Guests are only allowed access to the first floor through a special guided tour. The floor features The Digital Age: Hacking, Remix and the Archive in the Age of Post-Production.
