OTHER INFO: Originally hailing from Texas, Austen is a sophisticated Boston who enjoys long naps in the sun and a dignified game of fetch. This suave 9 year old can often be found retrieving frisbees, appropriating balls from her stepbrother Archie, digging a rather apathetic sandy hole and sunning her shiny black and white coat at the Sunset dog beach. Rather than greeting her owner at the door when she arrives home, Aus prefers a disenchanted gaze from her perch atop of a leather arm chair until a treat of some kind is offered. The queen of her castle, this aristocratic canine will survey those walking beneath her high-rise with a blasé gaze as the day meanders along. Austen can however become frantically excited if anyone comes bearing a balloon as a gift. Of course, one can understand how outrageously delightful it is to bop a party balloon into the air with your royal nose over and over!
