Join the Okanagan Falls Wineries Association for their 5th Annual Party in the Park. Held in Kenyon Park on the shores of Skaha Lake in Okanagan Falls, 14 wineries come together for one special summer evening to showcase their wines, followed by a BBQ buffet dinner and live music from local folk/reggae band, My Kind of Karma. A wonderful evening to mingle with winery owners and enjoy the small town charm of Okanagan Falls.

For food and wine lovers, the 7th Annual Similkameen BBQ King/Queen event is a must attend. Held in Keremeos at the beautiful Grist Mill & Gardens, 11 wineries showcase their wines alongside culinary creations from the Okanagan's top chefs as they battle to win the coveted crown of BBQ King/Queen. Wander from station to station enjoying wine tastings and each chef's unique dish made from local organic ingredients. Breathtaking views of the Similkameen valley along with live music from Aidan Mayes and Mandy Cole.

The Summer Wine and Food Festival at Silver Star Mountain Resort takes place on the weekend of August 12th, 2016. The highlight of the festival, the Mile High Wine & Music event happens on Saturday, August 13th from 4pm-7pm with over 30 wineries participating. Enjoy live bluegrass and country music along with beautiful views of the mountains. Tickets: $60.00. The weekend festival also includes cooking demostrations, Wine Master dinners, self-guided Alpine flower hikes and a special Bubbles Brunch presented by Haywire Winery.

A unique event created by Summerland's Bottleneck Drive Winery Association, the Grand Sommelier Express celebrates the Okanagan's historic Kettle Valley Steam Train. Enjoy wine-tastings from 19 wineries as the "the Spirit of Summerland-#3716", a locomotive originally built in 1912, slowly travels along the scenic Kettle Valley railway. Following the train ride, a three course dinner paired with Bottleneck Drive wines will be served at the old KVR train station, accompanied by live music.
