Today's #ArtistAtHome is a slight departure from Vancouver's noise-making homemakers (thanks to Shaun Verreault for coining the term), and instead comes from the city's lovely and talented Burlesque community. This is August Wiled, member of Pandora and The Locksmiths and a dance instructor at Vancouver Burlesque Centre.

Honestly, she is amazing, she builds things, has a tool kit that would put most people to shame, and can hang a curtain in high heels while perched up on a stool with utter grace. Many thanks to her for her hospitality and for sending me on my way with a care package of homemade chocolate chip cookies!
