Wait for Me, Daddy

One of the most iconic photographs from World War II just happened to have been taken in New Westminster by Vancouver Province photographer Claud Detlo. Life magazine later named it among the top 10 pictures of the 1940s. It shows a boy running after his marching father on October 1, 1940.
