Vancouver Theatresports League located on Granville Island celebrates the hilarious return of The Christmas Queen. One of their most popular shows, The Christmas Queen has become a Vancouver holiday tradition. If you have never experienced comedy improv theatre, take a break from the stress of the holidays and enjoy an evening of fun, silliness and laughter.

Christmas Queen 3- the Bachelorette Edition, focuses on the Queen (Pearce Visser) finding her true love while unleashing her evil plan to ruin the holidays. Eligible bachelors include Elf on a Shelf (Margret Nyfors), Frosty the Snowman (Scott Patey), recently divorced Santa Claus (Allen Morrison) and comic bonus, actor Owen Wilson (Andrew Barber). The director (Clare Filipow) has to manage the Christmas Queen's demands and diva behaviour except for when the cameras are rolling and she turns into a sweet Bachelorette.

With live improv, the audience is invited and encouraged to participate in the show. The Christmas Queen is narrated by the magical elf, Buttons (Michael Teigen) who does an excellent job of engaging the audience and keeping the show moving along. No two shows are ever the same as suggestions from the audience take the performance in many unexpected and hysterical directions. Warning if you have never been to improv theatre and don't want to be actively involved or heckled by the actors, it is best not to sit in the front row. The talented cast of this year's Christmas Queen will have you laughing out loud as well as impressed by their quickness of wit.
