Jeunes Leader Radio CanadaDo you know someone between the ages of 18-40 who is a leader in their field or community? Radio-Canada is looking for French-speaking leaders for their first Jeunes Leaders d’ICI prize! 8 winners will be chosen from Western Canada to attend a Leadership Summit in Winnipeg on June 15, 2017, where they will get the opportunity to network and share their ideas with other young trailblazers from around the country. Winners will also receive Nation-Wide exposure via the Radio-Canada channels as one of the chosen representatives from the Western Provinces.

The project’s ambassador, Maryse Bernard told us exactly why Jeunes Leaders d'ICI is looking to highlight Western Canadian talent:

The inspiration behind the Jeunes Leaders d'ICI project is really to shine a light on francophones and francophiles in Western Canada who are moving things forward and taking interesting initiatives. We want to give people of all fields a platform to share what they do and the impact they have on their community. They can work in the arts, education, business...if they're an inspiring person between the ages of 18-40, Jeunes Leaders d'ICI wants to get to know them and help promote the changes they're making.”

Ultimately, Jeunes Leaders d'ICI is looking for passion, drive, bright ideas and a vision for the future. You can nominate people online via the Jeunes Leaders d'ICI website. Nominations close February 26, 2017.
