Vancouver Heritage Foundation is a registered charity supporting the conservation of heritage buildings and structures in recognition of their contribution to the city’s economy, sustainability and culture.

If you have never been on a VHF Heritage House Tour in its 15 year history, why not make this year your first? On Sunday, June 4th (always the first Sunday in June), experience Vancouver's diverse history through its unique built heritage. Once you get your ticket, you can visit 9 heritage and character homes throughout Vancouver neighbourhoods. This year explore the city from Strathcona to Dunbar and Kitsilano to Kerrisdale. Homes open for one day only, and with your ticket as your guidebook you can visit the houses in any order between 10am-5pm. Volunteers, and often homeowners and professionals, will be on site to answer questions, share stories and information about the house history as well as modernizations, energy efficiency upgrades or even seismic and restoration work. Each house has its story of early residents and later changes but all highlight different ways that heritage homes are being retained and enjoyed.

As Vancouver continues to grow and change, historic buildings and places have an important role to play, contributing to strong, sustainable communities. If you’d like to purchase a ticket online Register here, $40 or $30 with valid student ID. Tickets are also available on the day of the tour, and at our partner stores ahead of tour day (listed below). Online ticket sales will end Saturday, June 3rd at 5pm. NEW! Featuring graphics of actual heritage and character buildings found in Vancouver on one side and our logo on the other, new VHF reusable canvas bags will be available at both Info Booth locations for $20 each including tax. We will also be selling VHF 25 and Heritage House Tour 15th anniversary cookies on tour day. Each $2 cookie celebrates these milestones in VHF's history in the most delicious way. Proceeds from the sale of the bags and cookies will benefit our public awareness and education programming. Visit either VHF Info Booth between 9am and 3pm on June 4th to purchase your VHF bags and cookies! While supplies last.

If you decide on Sunday morning that you cannot miss this year's tour, don't worry! You can purchase tickets on tour day at one of two Info Booths: 1290 Matthews Avenue or 3549 W 37th Avenue. Both booths open June 4th, 9am-3pm ONLY but you can enjoy the houses from 10am-5pm.

Regular and Student Tickets are also available at our partner stores. Please note bus tickets are not available through partner stores, and pre-purchased tickets are not available for pick-up from these locations.
