On Point: Where to Buy a Cactus in Vancouver

If you’ve skimmed an interior design blog this year you’ve probably noticed more than a few prickly plants popping up beside lamps and couches. Cacti are in-style in a big way but are surprisingly hard to find around town (believe us, we’ve tried).

If you’ve skimmed an interior design blog this year you’ve probably noticed more than a few prickly plants popping up beside lamps and couches. Cacti are in-style in a big way but are surprisingly hard to find around town (believe us, we’ve tried). Fortunately, a group of local makers is hosting an all-out celebration of the beloved sharp plant this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Little Mountain Shop in Mount Pleasant.

On Point: A Cactus + Friends Pop-Up will feature a selection of cacti and succulents for sale as well as goods from local makers. Come between 7:00pm and 10:00pm on Friday for Cactus cocktails or walk up Main Street during Sunday’s Car Free Day festivities to check out Tality Kombucha, Papercut Monsters, Handsome Mountain Pet Supplies, and Tessa Lee Design’s pop-up booths outside the shop.
