Have you heard about the $5 Ramen Challenge going down right now at a local restaurant?
Basically if you show up hungry to Yuu Japanese Tapas in Richmond now through October 20 and you finish the regular-sized bowl of ramen of your choice within 10 minutes, it’s yours for a mere $5.
Well, one Vancouver ramen fan was definitely game. Hafu Guo grabbed his friends, a black hoodie, and a USB-powered fan (you'll see why) and headed to Yuu to take on the challenge.
The result: Guo destroyed the challenge in a record-setting 2 minutes and 24 seconds, as you'll see in the video he shared with us.

Guo sure made it look easy, but the speedy slurper admits: "It hurt, a lot."
