Yelle – Monday at The Imperial
Need some energy for the week ahead? Yelle is definitely worth checking out. With beautiful lyrics sung in French, complemented by groovy, energizing, soulful electro pop, they are definitely something special to cure your Monday blues.
Deadmau5 – Tuesday at Pacific Coliseum
Deadmau5 is finally here. One of the greatest EDM producers the world has ever seen is coming down to the Pacific Coliseum to showcase his awesome DJ and production skills. Bringing with him the newly designed and hugely impressive cube 2.1 stage, the night will be full of beautiful visual wonders and fantastic Electro, progressive and tech house and trap.
Alert The Medic – Tuesday at the Portside
Time to Rock with Alert the Medic, taking Nova Scotia, and now the country, by storm with their unique energetic, funky and extremely lively take on rock. The band is now coming to Vancouver as part of their national tour to promote their 4th studio album “Let them Have Their Fun”.
Yelawolf – Tuesday at The Vogue
Tuesday night brings us Alabama born rapper Yelawolf to the Vogue. Drawing inspiration from his country and folk background, his beats incorporate powerful bouncy melodies and deep, emotional hard hitting lyrics.
Tash Sultana – Wednesday at The Commodore – sold out
This Wednesday, Tash Sultana the self-taught multi-instrumentalist and vocalist is performing in Vancouver as part of her Fall 2017 tour. Once a street artist in Melbourne, she is now one of the hottest newcomers in 2017. don’t miss out on watching her play the piano, guitar, trumpet, pan flute, mandolin and saxophone.
Hoodie Allen – Wednesday at The Vogue
Hip hop and pop rap icon Hoodie Allen is redefining hip hop with his own brand of emotional yet soulful flow of lyrics and beats that are filled with deep baselines and sexy melodies.
Deep Dark Woods – Wednesday at Biltmore
For a more relaxing and soulful mid-week night out, why not accompany Deep Dark Woods through a night of slow groovy soulful country and folk rock. After being on hiatus, the band has re emerged with a fantastic new album Jubilee, bringing back the psychedelic atmosphere of the 60’s combined with a bit of new age electric folk.
Johnny Tobin Trio – Thursday at Shadow Sessions at Chambar
Shadow Sessions present a night of funky, beautiful, R&B music with Johnny Tobin Trio, with deep soulful melodies brimming with a quiet energy you can be sure it’s the perfect pre- weekend night out and a great way to relax before Halloween creeps up on us.
Secondhand Serenade – Thursday at The Rickshaw
After taking a break from his music, Secondhand Serenade is back with his 10 year “Awake” anniversary tour, commemorating his first studio album. This incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist has a unique yet dark take on pop rock, bringing about an Emo like lyrical experience, full of complex and deep emotions.
Chris Liebing – Thursday at Celebrities
It’s time to go underground with Tech house and Minimal tech veteran Chris Liebing. After blowing up the Space and Amnesia clubs in Ibiza he’s set his sights on Celebrities this Thursday. With a dark unnerving yet energetic and funky sound, It’s time to hit the floor and dance.
KLLO with I M U R and iamforest – Friday at The Waldorf
This Friday, let’s groove with KLLO. The duo will bring a beautifully vibrant and funky night full of uplifting energizing melodies, together with I M U R and iamforest, two of Vancouver’s top electronic pop groups. The night will be full of energetic and upbeat vibes and of course lots and lots of grooving and shaking.
DOOMS Night 2017 – Friday at Pacific Coliseum
Embracing the spirit of Halloween this Friday, DOOMS Night 2017 comes to our doorstep, featuring the bewitching, deep trance sensation Tiesto, the lively and entertaining Don Diablo and Dutch electro house veteran Headhunterz amongst many others. This night will be full of energetic vibrant EDM music so get your glow sticks out party people and let’s dance.
A$AP MOB – Saturday at PNE Forum
This Saturday, PNE is taking you back to the Hood, with A$AP MOB, a hard hitting Hip hop group from NY. With dark, hard bouncy baselines and cool combination of old and new melodic styles, they have shown the world why they are a musical force not to be messed with.
The Black Heart Procession – Saturday at The Biltmore
Time to let your emotional side out this Halloween, with Indie rock band The Black Heart Procession. Giving us a slow, soulfully melodic and deeply dark harmonic combination of vocals and instruments, they will bring a tear to your eye, help you ease the pain from the week left behind and let your heart sing to their sorrowfully joyous performance.
Martha Wainwright – Sunday at the Imperial
