14 places you can get a Santa Claus photo with your dog in Vancouver


Pets are family too! So no need to leave them out of your holiday photo with Santa Claus. There are plenty of opportunities in Metro Vancouver to bring your best friend with paws for a sitting with Santa Claus.

From fundraiser events to classic mall visits, here are 13 places in Metro Vancouver you can get a photo with Santa Claus and your dog (or other pet).

Paws & Mr Claus at Oakridge 

Paws and Mr. Claus is an opportunity to bring your furry family members for a photo with Santa at Oakridge mall. Park at the Southwest Entrance to the mall (by Peninsula Restaurant). Pets are only permitted in Santa’s designated photo area.

When: Wednesday, November 29 and Wednesday, December 6 from 6 to 8pm
Where: Oakridge – 650 W 41st Avenue, Vancouver

Tisol Grandview

Get your photo either of two days at Tisol’s Grandview location. Minimum $10 donation to local pet rescue for photos with Santa. The first 75 customers each day get an amazing goodie bag stuffed with treats and samples and coupons for their fur baby.

Tisol Main Street

Join Tisol Main Street for Santa Photos with PB & Chi Dog Rescue. Pictures are by donation – 1 for $10, 2 for $15. There will also be a Silent Auction.

When: December 2 from 11am – 3pm

Cost: By donation 1 for $10, 2 for $15

BC SPCA at Bosley’s

All well behaved and leashed/kenneled pets are welcome to Pet Photos with Old Saint Nick. All funds raised will support animals in the care of BC SPCA Vancouver Branch. Minimum Donation is $10. Photos are by Eric Milner of Ambleside Photo.

When: December 3 from noon – 5pm

Lansdowne Centre

Pet Photo Night is Wednesdays from 6 to 8 pm with Santa at Lansdowne Centre in Richmond.

When: Wednesday nights (Nov. 29, Dec. 6, 13, 20) from 6 – 8pm
Where: Lansdowne Mall – 5300 No.3 Road, Richmond
Cost: $20-25

Pet Food N More Stores

Photos are by donation only, with all proceeds going directly to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.


Pets-N-Us in Tsawwassen is having their annual pet photos with Santa event once again…and it’s not just for canines! Santa will pose with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, monkeys, geese, tortoises, turkeys, goldfish, ferrets, goats, ponies, kids…and grown ups. Donations accepted for PB & Chi.

When: Sunday, December 10 from 11am – 3pm

BSCPCA Photos with The Grinch

THe BCSPCA Surrey Education and Adoption Centre has a fun twist on the Santa photo: Pet photos with THE GRINCH. All family members and confident, well behaved pets are welcome. Cash preferred for ease of transactions, but debit or credit card can be accommodated.

When: December 10 from noon – 4pm
Where: BC SPCA Surrey Education & Adoption Centre – 16748 50th Avenue, Surrey
