Every morning we deliver you One Awesome Thing – an article that makes you want to get out of bed and rule your day.

We already knew that the Lumiere Festival is pretty cool, but now we’re even more excited to find out it’s hosting a public disco this Saturday at the Jim Deva Plaza.

Anyone interesting in dancing freely with a fun crowd is encouraged to wear their winter gear and get ready for a serious party.

According to the event’s Facebook page, this occasion is open to anyone looking to have fun.

“Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their most playful attire to help break down barriers to social interaction, reclaim public space for self-expression, and encourage letting loose and having fun.”

Expect some amazing music from Vancouver’s finest talent and get ready to let loose!
