Made from 600 custom LED bulbs, Coupland's installation will follow the curvature of the building and be integrated into the structure's window frames, creating individual ‘pixels,’ that can be programmed to change colour, form patterns and communicate concealed messages that viewers can decode with a free downloadable app.

Montreal-based lighting firm SACO, who created the NASDAQ signage in New York, is also involved.

Coupland has likened the installation to the crescendo of a fireworks display. You can watch a short film about the installation HERE.
