For a colourful wintertime light display that's a little different than the usual Christmas vibe, the inaugural Vancouver Chinese Lantern Festival is now lighting up the night on the PNE grounds.

Canada’s largest Chinese Lantern Festival and celebration of culture will cast its incredible glow on Vancouver for five weeks. The Chinese Lantern Festival got underway December 15, and will run through January 21, 2018.

Taking over the whole PNE grounds, the event features an array of live performances, hands-on activities, kids’ features, and food–all in addition to dazzling displays of lights.
