Eagle rescue wrapped up by BC Conservation Officer

The BC Conservation Officer Service had a busy day today (as they always do), sharing a couple of gems on Twitter. First was this video of a moose in the Peace River area, caught on video right outside the window of one of their officers.

The BC Conservation Officer Service had a busy day today (as they always do), sharing a couple of gems on Twitter.

First was this video of a moose in the Peace River area, caught on video right outside the window of one of their officers.

The next incident was closer to home, up in Squamish where another officer rescued this eagle and wrapped it up in a blanket before shooting this photo. The bird is destined for OWL Rehab.

I say this often, but you should really be following these folks on Twitter and Facebook.
