If you want to know who can afford to buy into Vancouver’s real estate, Indeed might provide a few clues.
The job search site has mined its salary data to determine what it says are the top-paying jobs in Vancouver right now.
The top three are doctors with jobs in the tech sector filling in many of the other top spots.
On its list are:
• emergency medicine physician, with an average salary of $290,240
• paediatrician, $236,180
• family medicine physician, $224,410
• vice president of finance, $147,583
• software engineering manager, $142,700
• senior product manager, $123,750
• technical program manager, $113,700
• senior system engineer, $113,200
• senior tax manager, $112,650
• senior software engineer, $111,800
Indeed estimates the salaries based on employees, users, and past and present job advertisements on its site between Feb. 2016 and Feb. 2018. Only jobs with at least 50 salary reports are included.
