What’s even better than a KFC scented bath bomb?
The KFC Waffle Double Down, made up from two breaded chicken fillets sandwiching a Belgian waffle and drizzled in a maple aioli sauce.

"The Double Down is our most talked about and demanded menu item in Canada, so we wanted to do something special exclusively for Canadian fans," said Samantha Redman, chief marketing officer for KFC Canada, in a press release.
"We know fans have been craving chicken and waffles on our menu, and we're happy to provide this unique take on the trendy food pairing. The maple aioli sauce is a sweet nod to KFC's Canadian fans."
After it debuted in 2010, Canadians made the Double Down KFC's best-selling new menu item ever, selling more than 350,000 in its first 10 days. The Waffle Double Down joins the Zinger (spicy) Double Down as a variation on the classic recipe. This is the first-time waffles have been added to the mix.

Fans looking to get their hands on the Waffle Double Down early are encouraged to keep their eyes on KFC Canada's social channels (Twitter, Instagram and Facebook) for exclusive offers in select cities across Canada.
The Waffle Double Down is available in stores beginning March 26 for a limited time, but for anyone willing to make the trip to Surrey this weekend, on March 24 you’ll be able to try the Waffle Double Down two days before the national launch and the first fifty customers get one free at 12121 72nd Ave.
