Part of the Georgia Viaduct will be closed to traffic this weekend for the 2018 Juno Awards.

The viaduct will be shut down from 9 p.m. on Friday and will reopen on Monday at 3 a.m. in time for the morning commute.

Fans traveling to BC Place for the Vancouver Whitecaps game against L.A. Galaxy on Saturday are reminded to take extra time getting to and from the stadium.

The viaduct will be transformed into a red carpet walk that will be used for the final event of the 47th annual Juno Awards on Sunday, March 25 hosted by Michael Bublé at the Rogers Arena.

The last time the viaduct was shut down was in 2015 for the filming of an action scene for Ryan Reynold's "Deadpool" movie.
