River District Vancouver will host their Golden Easter Celebration from 10:00am-1:00pm on April 1.

If you celebrated Easter as a child, you probably have springtime memories of hidden eggs, pastel decorations and enough chocolate and candy to keep you going well into those long Easter Sunday dinners. It’s difficult to live up to the expectations of our own memory, but fortunately, River District Vancouver has put together a classic Easter celebration that’s perfect for families and young kids.

The Golden Easter Celebration

This free, family-friendly event will include gold foiled chocolate egg hunts (registration required, join the waitlist), balloons, cotton candy, crafts, face painting, and even a giant chocolate bunny draw! There will be free hot chocolate and coffee provided by Starbucks as well as yogurt parfaits and delectable mini doughnuts courtesy of Romers, something that kids and their parents can both enjoy.

The event aims to be an easygoing, family-friendly way to celebrate the holiday. All are welcome to join in on the fun!

Getting Here

The free daytime event takes place at the River District Neighbourhood Centre located at 8683 Kerr Street. Main Parking can be accessed via Kinross Street from Marine Way. Overflow Parking can be accessed via Sawmill Crescent from Marine Way. Those walking in can enter via the same two parking lot entrances. Parking is limited.
