RCMP renews call for tips on 9th anniversary of Wendy Ladner-Beaudry murder

Today, April 3, marks the ninth anniversary of the murder of Wendy Ladner-Beaudry and the RCMP has issued another call for information that could help solve the crime.

The Ladner-Beaudry family is also offering a private reward of up to $30,000 for new information, which will lead to the arrest and laying of a criminal charge or criminal charges against an individual or individuals responsible for the murder.

Ladner-Beaudry, then 53, was killed while jogging through Pacific Spirit Regional Park on April 3, 2009. A hiker found her body on a trail near the intersection of Camosun Street and Southwest Marine Drive.

The RCMP E Division Major Crime Section – Special Projects Unit took over the investigation in 2014 from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
