Burnaby RCMP is looking for help finding a flasher who exposed himself to a woman near Central Park Monday night.

Police were called to the 4100 block of Maywood Street (by Willingdon Avenue) at about 10:20 p.m. after getting a report of a man who had committed an indecent act.

“The male is alleged to have exposed himself to a female in the area,” states an RCMP press release. “The female ran away from the male, who followed her for a short distance.”

The man was last seen walking towards Central Park, police said.

There have been no reports of other similar incidents in the area, but police are warning the public to be alert and vigilant while walking there.

The suspect is described as a five-foot-seven Caucasian man with pale skin, a large build, brown hair, large brown eyes with thick eyebrows and a large nose.

He was wearing a grey hoody with the hood up and grey track pants, according to police.
