VPD Homicide detectives are investigating a murder committed this morning near Kingsway and Nanaimo.
55-year-old Vancouver resident Dam Minh Huu lost his life after being taken to hospital following an assault that occurred just before 1:30am.
A 48-year-old Vancouver man was arrested. Evidence suggests that Huu and this man knew each other, and they got into an argument on the street. It escalated.
They're not looking for any other suspects and don't believe the public is at risk.
