Long suffering Canucks fans, rejoice! You can now have the Stanley Cup.

Sure, not won by your team, and not hefted over the head of your favourite Sedin twins, but the Canadian Mint has a 3-ounce fine silver coin that might make a good addition to your collection of hockey-related things. Or coin-related things if you're a collector like I am.

This is the second in a series of quick features I'm bringing you where I'll be sharing some notable releases from the same organization that prints those toonies you have in your pocket.

The first was about the enchanting Thunderbird coin designed by Andy Everson, the Indigenous B.C. artist who designs those sweet Star Wards prints you may be familiar with.

This half-Stanley Cup actually came out in October of 2017 as a part of the 125th anniversary of the Cup. It was released in an edition of 5,000 pieces. So, 2,500 full Cups if every person buying one decided to buy two to make a full, mini cup to hoist over their head.

They still have them available on their website, so it doesn't seem like it was the most popular of coins (which often sell out quickly online). Its face value is $50.00, and it's priced at $359.95, which could have something to do with it.

You can learn more about it HERE.
