The nominees of this year's Leo Awards were announced today and our BC Was Awesome history show is being recognized in two categories!

The nominations are for Season Two of our series where we tour British Columbia digging up offbeat stories from its past.

We're in the running for Best Information, Lifestyle or Reality Program or Series alongside Hand Crafted, Love It or List It Vancouver, Why I Love Vernon and Worst to First.

Our director, Greg Crompton, is up for Best Director in the Information, Lifestyle or Reality Program or Series category. He's up against Andrew Muir from Hand Crafted, Nicholas Treeshin from Love It or List It Vancouver and Melinda Friedman from Why I Love Vernon.

The winners of the 20th annual Leo Awards will be announced at a gala on June 3rd at the Hyatt Regency. For a full list of the nominees visit leoawards.com/nominees.
