Metro Vancouver Transit Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man that allegedly threw his coffee on a woman and pushed her to the ground at New Westminster SkyTrain Station.

The 42-year-old New Westminster woman told police she believes that she may have accidentally bumped into the suspect on the platform while rushing to catch the train on April 6 at about 10:45 a.m.

Police say the two exchanged words before the woman walked away. The suspect allegedly threw his coffee on her back and, as she turned to face him, pushed her with both hands. The woman fell backwards hitting her head on the platform. Police say a citizen went to the aid of the victim and the suspect left the station.
