"The inaugural lineup includes an incredible mix of top-shelf blues headliners, as well as local and international artists encompassing a great mix of Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Funk and even a little Jazz," note organizers in a release.
Each of the two days features three evening high-profile acts. On Saturday it’s Vancouver’s contemporary blues artists Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer followed by sultry blues rocker Dana Fuchs, wrapping up with the legendary Elvin Bishop (Fooled Around and Fell In Love). On Sunday, the three main acts are the vivacious Nikki Hill, followed by serious blues rock guitarist Popa Chubby, and with the fest's concluding star attraction, the Fabulous Thunderbirds (Wrap It Up, Tuff Enuff).
For the daytime acts, there is Vancouver Blues favourite Harpdog Brown & the Uptown Blues Band; Portland’s Robbie Laws as well as the Rae Gordon Band; Kelowna’s Rick “Poppa Dawg” Halisheff; and Fraser Valley’s Hell’s Gate Blues Band.  Soul, Funk and R&B fans will love both Coco Jafro and Emily Chambers. Rounding out the mix is the vintage jazz stylings of Sundae & Mr Goessl.
