Broadway will be closed to traffic this weekend between Commercial and Victoria Drive starting from June 15 at 9 p.m. until June 17 at 8 a.m.

TransLink crews will be removing a work platform, making sidewalk repairs and installing a new 99 B-Line canopy and queuing system.

Drivers should be aware that eastbound lanes on Broadway will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on June 17 and ending at 5 a.m. on June 18. Westbound lanes will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on June 18 until June 19 at 5 a.m.

Stops for the 9 and 99 B-Line will be relocated to the west side of Commercial Drive from June 15 to June 25.

The SkyTrain station entrance beside Shoppers Drug Mart will be closed during this time but transit users can enter the station at Commercial Drive and at Broadway entrance on the south side of the street.

Bus passengers will need to cross the street to catch their bus. TransLink is adding signs and extra staff to direct customers.

Once the work is finished on June 25 TransLink says the bus stops will be moved back to their permanent locations.
