The Vancouver Canucks have signed goaltender Richard Bachman to a two-year, two-way contract.

The 30-year-old posted a 13-13-5 record with a .902 save percentage and 2.98 goals-against average in 31 games played with the American Hockey League's Utica Comets this past season.

The five-foot-10, 175-pound native of Salt Lake City has played 48 career NHL games, posting a 20-17-2 record, a .906 save percentage and 2.90 GAA.

Bachman originally signed with Vancouver as a free agent on July 1, 2015. He was selected 120th overall by Dallas in the 2006 NHL draft.
