Vancouver police are searching for a missing 26-year-old woman who has the mental capacity of a seven-year-old.
Veronica Opal Ewin was last seen at 3 a.m. on Wednesday morning near Knight Street and East 37th Avenue. She is described as white, 5'7" tall with a heavy build, blue eyes and blonde hair dyed pink with green streaks.
Ewin was last seen wearing a pink jacket, a yellow shirt, yoga pants and runners. Police says she is capable of walking long distances and is familiar with public transit. She has previously been located in Downtown Eastside and in nearby cities.
Police say the woman may appear confused, but is unlikely to ask for help.
Anyone who sees Veronica Ewin is asked to call 9-1-1 and keep an eye on her until first responders arrive.
