This Vancouver death metal Kickstarter campaign just reached $666

Weekly Kickstarter Feature

By day John Kurucz is a reporter for the Vancouver Courier, one of the publications Vancouver Is Awesome shares a newsroom with. You’ll see a lot of the articles he writes cross-posted on our website.

By night John is the drummer of the death metal band Gross Misconduct. You won’t see much of that on our website except when they’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming album and that campaign reached $666.

That happened this morning. And while that’s a fitting number for a death metal band their goal has been set at $3,000.

If you like fast, loud music then Gross Misconduct is likely already on your radar. If they’re not, you’re welcome. Support the campaign and consider traditional perks like the album when it comes out ($10) or more elaborate ones like, say, a beach barbecue party with the band ($250).

Check out their campaign video below and pitch in to the project HERE.
