UPDATE -- On Thursday morning (July 19) police reported that Joseph Manitopyes was found safe and sound.

Vancouver police are searching for a missing 67-year-old man that suffers from dementia.
Joseph Manitopyes was last seen yesterday when he left his home near Victoria Drive and East 5th Avenue around 8 p.m.
Manitopyes is Indigenous, approximately 6'1” tall, with a slim build, and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing an Aussie-style brown hat, black rimmed glasses, blue jeans, a light blue long-sleeved v-neck shirt, white Adidas shoes and a necklace with keys around his neck.
Manitopyes is able to walk longer distances but could appear confused and may not ask for help. He has health issues, is missing important daily medication and his family is concerned for his well-being.
Police say anyone that sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
