These 13 rainbow-coloured treats make Vancouver Pride a sweeter celebration

The Pie Hole

The Pie Hole has sweetened the deal with their creative Pride treats that are available August 1-6 in store on a first-come, first-served basis, and online as pre-order for pickup.

Pride Pop Tarts - Limited edition pop tarts made with Double Butter Crust, and filled with sour Okanagan grown cherries, then topped with a vibrant rainbow icing. ($5 each; 4 pack: $18)

Lemon MeringueGay Pie - Sweet and tart lemon curd in The Pie Hole's signature Double Butter Crust, topped with a fluffy and fun rainbow Italian meringue. (9": $30; 5": $11; 9? ?pack of min?i?s: $28)

Giovane Cafe at Fairmont Pacific Rim

The casual cafe at the Fairmont Pacific Rim has cranked up the rainbow sweetness with their amazing Sugar Buns, turning them into rainbow cream-filled "Love Buns," available July 22 to August 5.

No celebration is complete without cake and cocktails, and visitors to Parq Vancouver will have plenty of opportunities to indulge in both. Between Monday July 30 and Monday August 6, slices of decadent layered rainbow cake will be available for purchase at the hotel's food and drink venues Honey Salt, D/6, BC Kitchen and The Victor.

Of course Vancouver's favourite cinnamon bun spot has rainbow-iced buns for Pride. You can get them with the icing on the side, too, for some DIY rainbow action.  From August 3 - 5 Grounds for Coffee will be selling Rainbow Pride Packs AND 50% of all sales will be split between two amazing causes: Qmunity and the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation. Pride Packs will only be available in packs of 6 (pre-iced or icing on the side) for $18 including tax. Pre-orders are recommended and can be made over the phone at 604-224-5282.

With two locations in the West End, Tartine has been busily baking up all sorts of rainbow treats for Pride, like rainbow cheesecake in a jar, rainbow cookies, and rainbow cake.
