Victoria police are searching for a woman that appears to have had a meltdown inside a McDonalds on Hillside Avenue shortly after midnight on July 14.

The woman was unhappy that her order did not contain a tomato and became verbally abusive, according to the employees.

When a staff member offered her a refund she threw things at him until another man intervened and appeared to be trying to calm her down.

The woman struck one of the ordering kiosks several times knocking the machine out of order then left the restaurant with the man. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian woman, in her early 20s. She has blonde hair -- is approximately 5'2" and has a slender build. She has tattoos on her left forearm, and was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with light blue shoulders and a Disney character on the front.

She was wearing light white “pajama” style pants and white running shoes at the time of the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident or the woman's identity to call their non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654 or remain anonymous by calling Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
