Victoria police say a “person of interest” matching the description of a woman seen getting angry in a McDonald’s surveillance video has visited the department’s Esquimalt division offices.

She was not arrested, and police say their investigation is continuing.

The video shows a woman becoming agitated and throwing things at staff before punching and breaking an ordering kiosk at the Hillside Avenue McDonald’s.

Staff told police the outburst was because she did not get a tomato slice on her wrap.
