Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services will hold another "sprinkler park" event on Thursday.

Kids and kids at heart will have the chance to cool off by running through a misting spray from an aerial ladder truck.

The fire trucks will be stationed at John Hendry Park, Strathcona Park and Balaclava Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 16.

This week is expected to be a bit cooler than last week when firefighters held the first pop-up water park event.

Environment Canada is forecasting a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 24 degrees C in Vancouver on Thursday.
