Vegan Supply is opening a Surrey location

Vegan Supply, the grocery store that carries only plant-based products, is opening a second location, and this one is in Surrey.

That plant-based life is a lot easier when you can get your hands on animal-free products close to home. For anyone living south of the Fraser, if you've wanted to shop at Vegan Supply, it meant hopping online or making the drive into Vancouver's Chinatown.

Now the grocery store that carries only plant-based products is opening a second location, and this one is in Surrey.

Located in South Surrey on the west side of Highway 99 and King George Boulevard, Vegan Supply Surrey will carry "all your favourite Vegan Supply products," according to the store. That includes some specialty vegan products that you may not be able to find elsewhere in the Metro Vancouver area.

The new Vegan Supply in Surrey isn't exactly a new space for owner Jason Antony, who has been operating the market Antony & Sons in the space previously. Antony's name might be familiar to those who know the plant-based food scene in Vancouver well; he's also an owner of the MeeT restaurants, with locations on Main Street, in Gastown, and in Yaletown.

Vegan Supply Surrey will celebrate their Grand Opening on Sunday, August 26 with an in-store event featuring local vegan vendors, activities, prizes, and more.

Vegan Supply Surrey is located at 14016 32 Avenue, unit 202.
