UPDATE: Missing man has been found and returned to his home

Update 10:36 a.m. on August 21: Robert “Bob” Lenfesty has been found in good health and police officers have returned him to his home.

Vancouver police are searching for a 60-year-old man with dementia.

Robert “Bob” Lenfesty was last seen at 5:30 p.m., on August 19, walking in the area of Fir Street and West Broadway in Vancouver. Police say he may appear confused and disoriented.

Mr. Lenfesty is white, 5’9” tall, approximately 150 lbs., with a slim build. He has brown eyes, and is balding with short grey hair. He was wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie with an unknown symbol on it.

Police say Bob tends to stay on the west side of Vancouver and UBC.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until police arrive.
