Which Vancouver mayoral candidate best aligns with your values?

This new quiz from Polltivia asks participants to rank the issues they care about the most from options such as housing, poverty, transportation, taxes and cost of living.

The poll collects data on gender, age, income bracket, whether you rent or own, if you voted in the city's last election and asks which candidate you feel most aligned with before moving on to the results.

The results page reveals that the poll is most popular with men, renters, middle and lower income earners. The top issues are housing followed by cost of living.

The majority of poll respondents say they don't know which candidate they feel aligns with their values.

At the time of writing approximately 450 people have taken the poll.

Click on 'candidates' at the top right of the page to upvote or downvote tweets from each candidate and get a sense of how others perceive them on Twitter.

The candidates page can also be accessed directly here and the company says new tweets are added daily.

Polltivia is a new public opinion polling company based in Toronto made up of Canadian technology enthusiasts and according to their website they do not work directly with politicians.

A company representative told V.I.A. that they plan to roll out to the rest of Canada shortly and expand their research to include other topics -- not just politics.

Election day is October 20 in Vancouver with advanced polling from October 10 to 17.
