Dramatic video has emerged of a truck going up in flames on Highway 99 in South Surrey.

The truck carrying hay caught fire on the highway about 4.30pm on Thursday, later shutting down southbound lanes.
The video, posted on YouTube, shows the truck completely engulfed by flames before firefighters arrived at the scene.
The driver of the semi-trailer reportedly pulled over, between the 24 Avenue and 16 Avenue overpasses, when he realized the hay had caught fire.
Surrey Fire Fighters tweeted that crews responded to the blaze promptly and prevented the fire from spreading into the nearby trees.
