After over 40 years, Vancouver's Party Bazaar is hanging up its hat

It's hard to imagine Halloween without The Party Bazaar and their costumes and gear, but 2018 is going to be their last go-round for holiday revellers. After 41 years in the business, The Party Bazaar will close for good in November.

Located on Station Street off Main, The Party Bazaar began as Bazaar & Novelty in 1977. The business has grown and evolved over the years, becoming known in the last couple of decades for costumes, particularly with their Halloween off-shoot shop, as well as balloons, makeup, wigs, party decor, and event rentals.

The Party Bazaar is closing down because an office building is set to be built on the property where the shop sits.

As expected, Party Bazaar will be doing Halloween up with their usual gusto; they're promising it will be their best ever. The store already begun to put merchandise on sale to liquidate, too. All non-Halloween stuff is already being offered at up to 80% off.

The Party Bazaar is located at 1296 Station Street in Vancouver.
