Meet NBA legends at this FREE basketball event in Vancouver

NBA Crossover explores basketball's influence on fashion, history, art and gaming, and the popular exhibit has traveled to London, Paris, Milan, New Orleans and Los Angeles.

A free NBA event is coming to Vancouver to celebrate the history of basketball as well as its convergence with pop culture.

NBA Crossover explores basketball's influence on fashion, history, art and gaming, and the popular exhibit has traveled to London, Paris, Milan, New Orleans and Los Angeles.

Not only will guests have the opportunity to explore a basketball-inspired gallery, but they'll even have the chance to witness appearances and panel discussions featuring NBA legends and personalities.

What's more, the exciting event will host an NBA 2K19 Gaming Lounge showcasing the evolution of the game, NBA memorabilia, The Larry O’Brien Trophy and Nike Connected NBA Jerseys from all 30 NBA teams.

The event runs from September 28th until September 29th in Vancouver, before it moves on to Montreal.

“We’re excited to bring NBA Crossover to the passionate fans in Vancouver and Montreal ahead ofthe sixth NBA Canada Series,” said NBA Canada Vice President and Managing Director DanMacKenzie.

“Thanks to our partners Bell, Foot Locker and 2K, this free exhibition will showcase the many ways in which the NBA influences and is influenced by popular culture through interactive exhibits and special guest appearances.”

The free, all-ages exhibition will take place at The Permanent located at 330 West Pender. It runs from September 28th until September 29th.

The sixth NBA Canada Series presented by Bell will feature two 2018-19 preseason games in Vancouver and Montreal. 2018 NBA All-Star Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors will take on three-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Saturday, September 29th.
