Who says summer has to end? Make the most of the nights with a good old fashioned drive-in movie experience, and catch a FREE double feature in South Vancouver down at the River District.
River District
They'll be screening some blockbuster hits on a four-storey high screen, and you can come in by the carload for absolutely free, you just need to pre-reserve your spot online for one or both of the flicks.
River District kicked off the Saturday night showings a couple of weeks ago, but they've got a few good ones left, with more titles yet to be announced.
On September 29 they're showing a pair of superhero-themed sequels, Incredibles 2 and Deadpool 2. They're taking a break for Thanksgiving, but the following weekend (October 13) they'll be playing Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Dirty Dancing. Movies for the concluding two weeks have yet to be announced.
Food trucks will be on site, and there's free popcorn courtesy Scotiabank.
