Many people know a number of places to enjoy kayaking in Vancouver; however, they may not be aware of Deep Cove's spectacular late night offering, Friday Night Lights.

This unique journey takes kayakers through the breathtaking area on a guided tour under the moonlight. While kayaking on a sunny day is lovely, kayaking in the darkness provides a positively magical experience.

For one, the water is calm, and there is very little boat traffic and noise. As such, it becomes a very zen-like, tranquil excursion. You'll easily cut through the inky dark, star speckled waters with your paddle as you make your way down the Indian Arm.
The journey starts at dusk, and the guided tour is approximately two-and-a-half hours long. As you make your way experienced guides will describe the history of Indian Arm, as well as details about the area's geography. In addition, you'll learn all about the fascinating details about the wildlife that call the area home.
If you’re lucky, you might get to experience the magical bio-luminescence that appears!!
