Each year, diners coast to coast eagerly await the reveal of enRoute's list of Canada's Best New Restaurants. While we await that exciting top 10 list for this year (due out October 25, 2018), we can sip on some more refreshing news: A Vancouver spot landed on enRoute's companion hot sheet of Canada's Best New Bars of 2018.
The list of 10 great new places to cozy up to the bar in Canada covers some great drinking territory from Dartmouth to Edmonton, and includes one Vancouver standout: Tocador.

The Cuban-fuelled Tocador slid onto the Vancouver scene in the Main Street space that had housed for some time Charlie's Little Italian. The bar stirred things up with their Latin-infused menu of cocktails and bites, and their tropical vibes.
Specializing in custom craft cocktails, like the Guava Spritz and Cigar Festival, along with dishes from their full kitchen, like a Cubano sandwich or an octopus and prawn kale salad, Tocador is described by enRoute as "Instagram-perfect." The Vancouver night-time spot came in ranked at number five on the list.
