Woman's body found inside Richmond home, death considered suspicious

Shortly after midnight, Richmond RCMP was called to a residence in the 7000 block of Westminster Highway, between No. 3 and Gilbert roads, for the discovery of a body.

The body, according to police, is that of a deceased female and her death is considered as suspicious.

As such, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been contacted and has taken over the incident and will be working with the Richmond RCMP and the BC Coroner’s Service.
