This free community dinner is Vancouver’s biggest potluck ever

There are office potlucks, and game-day potlucks, and book club potlucks, and family gathering potlucks. But this upcoming community event calls itself “Vancouver’s Biggest Potluck Ever.”

Hosted by Village Vancouver, a group dedicated to promoting ecological sustainability, community resiliency, and low carbon living, the Biggest Potluck Ever is free and open to the public, so long as you bring something to eat or drink to share.

If you didn’t get your fill of communal eating over the Thanksgiving long weekend, this Tuesday night gathering a week later from the holiday at Heritage Hall is poised to satisfy your appetite.

The zero-waste event, now in its ninth year, will also feature live local music, children’s activities and community tables.
